In science terms, < b l a s t u l a > is an early stage of embryonic development: It is from this stage (128-512 cells) that embryonic stem cells are isolated… Given the significance of these cells for regeneration and development, blastula, in a more personal manner, represents a pool of possibilities for incubation as well as cultivation of ideas, projects and exchanges.
Welcome to this pool initiated by Pavel Sedlak aka b l a s t u l a.
I am currently living in Prague, Czech Republic, Europe, where I work at the International Centre for Art and New Technologies (CIANT) as a development manager. I am involved in various curatorial, editorial and production projects focused on art/science/technology/society connections. Feel free to find out about some of my recent activities under sections curating, conferences, and texts.
The more lively part of this site is a reblog where I republish posts of my interest from blogs I enjoy to follow… (What is a reBlog?)
